Default Headlights: Reflective cover

Cleaned out my headlights. Was cautious with the chrome reflective cover surrounding the headlight lens as advised by P-Cars.
Driver side light went fine. For some reason the chrome on Passenger side blew away like dust in the wind.
Now left with this ugly white area.

Just curious what other people have done in this situation.
I've heard mixed results with chrome paint. Looks difficult to remove this reflective cover too.

Same thing happened to me cleaning the lenses extremely fragile coating...I used spaz stix ultimate mirror chrome paint masked off the projector and light then lightly sand the reflector top with one coat black plastic primer then three coats spaz stix. When dry lightly buff it to a shine. Overall the results were very good but not perfect. Unfortunately perfect is buying a new headlight.

Thanks @Brig993
Have read that Spaz Stix is the way to go. Did you use an airbrush or the spray can?
I'll give it a shot and hope for the best!
