Default c4s third brake light

I was told the 3rd brake light above the rear window has a few lights out. So, upon taking apart the brake light , I was shocked to see all the little bulbs soldered into a thin metal strip.

YOU CANNOT REPLACE INDIVIDUAL BULBS ???????

Did the Porsche Engineers expect these bulbs to last the life of the car ??

In any event, how can I get my hands on this full metal strip of bulbs ?? Is this even possible ???

THOUGHTS ?? COMMENTS ??? SUGGESTIONS ???

THANK YOU !!!
Keith

Have you seen this? It is not a difficult job, just requires resoldering

BTW, it is a good idea to use the DIY--dealer charged the previous owner of my car ~$250.00 to replace three bulbs in that strip, just before I bought the car.
