Default Best source for RS rear wing and side skirts?

Any suggestions on source for good quality? I haven't checked the dealer yet for the OE stuff but guessing there are some good aftermarket sources to consider?

No personal exp, but I have heard Ma Shaw and some other company that escapes me at the moment... Getty design, I think.

A great source for OE parts, if you decide to look, is Gert with Carnewal: http://www.carnewal.com/Exterior#P93

With nearly 20 years of 993 ownership under my belt, here is my sage like advice. Don't by aftermarket crap when you can get the real thing. Aftermarket will require more labor to prep for paint, and most likely require work, possibly extensive, to get it to fit correctly. In addition, the attachment hardware will either be absent or possibly/probably shoddy.

Most of us have a budget...so do it one step at a time to ensure the quality of the parts and enhance the value of your car.
1. Do the side skirts 1st, no painting required. The quality of the factory part and the hardware provide, 1st class. Yes, they will cost about $1,200...worth it, worth it, worth it.
2. Next, the front splitters, relatively inexpensive, they will need to be painted, the fit will be perfect.
3. And finally the tail. This will be the most expensive, but worth it. I had a friend that bought a RS tail from an infamous aftermarket provider***, not Getty or MA Shaw, and the tail; required 9 hours of work for paint prep, and more work to get it to fit. Multiply 9 hours X $100 and hour, and that cheap aftermarket tail isn't so cheap after all.

Bottom line, you will add value to the car with factory parts, and if you take a new direction with the car, you can always sell them and get a large portion of your money back. NOT the case with aftermarket parts where you'll be luck to get $0.50 on the dollar spent.

I agree with Martin. I have a 1995 993 RS Clubsport clone with an ANDIAL 3.8 liter engine.

Long ago I bought the Porsche OEM 993 RSCS Supercup front 3 piece spoiler wings set-up and factory Porsche 993RS side skirts. Parts fit like factory and are great.
I could NOT get the rear factory OEM 993 SuperCup/Clubsport wing............so I had no choice but to go aftermarket.

I bought mine from Ken Buckler back in 1996 and it came from Getty Design. I bought it in carbon fiber with a 993 rear engine cover so I simply "unbolted by 993 rear electric wing" and bolted on the new pieces.
The quality was actually pretty good and it was not super expensive like the rear factory RSCS Supercup wing.

I still own and love my car...............I bought her in July 2004 and still drive her occasionally 23 year later!

If any of you are in the TRi-state area and or want to see my 993 RS Clubsport tribute call come on by be my guest. The car has been to Sebring to Mosport and many other racetracks on the east coast.

I had to look up "ganiff" - I've never seen the word before.

Now I have a great new word to use. Thanks!
