Hello All.
New Porsche owner. Won't bother you with the "I've always wanted a Porsche" story, except to say that I've always wanted a Porsche.
Car was delivered 3 days ago. In a nut shell:
1997 4S Coupe 6-sp
Arena Red Metallic
Black partial leather
40k miles
Options: Full power seat L
Rim caps with Porsche crest
HiFi sound system
Dark Root wood shift ****/handbrake
CD player
Heated seats Pkg
Headrests with Porsche crests
Floor mats
Boy, this is a nice car. Despite not having my tags yet, I have driven it around the neighborhood, and it is amazing how different this car is to, say, my 427 Shelby Cobra or my C5 Corvette.
Looking forward to spanking this baby on a weekly basis.
There is a short list of projects I am thinking of, but nothing too radical. Most of it is cosmetic stuff. I am not keen on big mods.
First post here, and although this forum's engine is quite similar to others I've used or still use, please forgive me if I crew up the posting of pics.
Thank you, and looking forward to a great time here on RL.

That is one beautiful Arena Red ride!!!!! Best color by far, but I am bias.
Enjoy and drive it like you stole it. These cars a meant to be driven.
Watch out for the slippery slope of modification canyon. However I went beyond what might be rational in that regard.

There is a question I haven't found answered anywhere yet, and that is how does one replace the headlamp washer nozzle in this cars?
If you look closely, my car came with the L nozzle missing. The seller was kind enough to send a replacement from Porsche, but I have no idea (neither did he) how to approach it. Looks like I may have to get into the L front wheel well and fender?
Anyways, if you have any tips for this (or anyone else here) I would be so grateful. Thanks.

Arena Red in my estimation is synonym with 993. I'm sure this is at least extremely arguable in this forum, but even though Porsche has almost always had some shade of burgundy in its palette, I think Arena Red is THE burgundy to have...
My three top choices when hunting down a 993 were 1) Arena Red 2) Arctic Silver 3) Guards Red. Very happy I found my first choice
Thank you for the compliment

I just finished the first modification, which i consider an upgrade.
Every time I look at the interior of a 911, I am always drawn to the dashboard and the ignition key hole surround. It always looks out of place because of the rubber whitish discoloration. Always an eye sore IMHO.
So I replaced it with a beautiful black anodized aluminum piece.
