Hi Guys,
My car is currently at the shop having the Clubsport style flares and rocker panels installed. I believe it is the same style as Soykher is using (GT2 look flares but for a narrow body).
Just curious if any of you guys know what the largest wheel widths I can go with is, front and back. 18" diameters. I'd also like to have a somewhat reasonable selection when choosing tires for the sizes too.
Heres a pic of his car for reference.
Thanks

PW, I believe You will find 10's and 12's will be the best with probably a 265, 275 or 285 front and a 315 or 335 rear will work. After all a 9 will fit with a 265 under your stock front and a 10 with a 285 will fit under your stock rear(offsets have to be dead on of course). you maybe able to make a 13 work in the rear also but not sure without starting with a WB. The 335 will fill the 12 nicely while the 315 gets a bit rim proud on a 12 but stll works quite well. I would just make 285's and 335's work if it were me but of course i always like the wide rubber, heck my stock fendered WB has 265's and 315's right now with no rolling and I have even had a 335 on it rear with no rolling so I bet that will work on your flared car great.

The size of the wheels you can use will depend to some extent on exactly where your shop puts your arches, they can sit higher or lower on the rear arch - obviously the lower they sit, the bigger the wheel. My flares (on a turbo body) sit fairly high as they were matched for the stock 993 GT2 road wheel to be as flush to the edges as possible.

PW
although this doesn't answer your Q, I thought you would appreciate these pics I found when looking at pics from a recent Trackday here in the UK.

Glen and TB993tt- Thanks for the advice. Guess I'll be talking to Kinesis about getting the correct offsets for 18x10" fronts and 18x12" rears.
Poon- Awesome pics. Definitely one of my favorite cars.

The silver car and TB's car were originally wide bodied. Your car is a narrow boddy and the RS Clubsport flares for the rear are about 1.3inches smaller than GT2 flares.
I think it would be best to go 9-9.5 front and 11.5 -12 rear
check with Kinesis and post your findings.
thanks
