RS Shifter install, hmmmm?
Hey All, just got my RS Shifter and Steering Wheel from Gert. (early christmas present, whhoo hooo).
I installed the shifter last night w/o much difficulty. however, i discovered two things, 1. the tunnel cover/consol piece is broken and should be replaced (the vinyl/leatherette looks worn anyhow).
2. it appears the RS shifter has quite a bit too much leather on it. i.e. as you can see in the picture. The "boot" seems about 1-1.5 inches too large. a bit like fat bastard after his subway diet in Goldmember. Has anyone else seen this before? am i just overly picky?
