I have a 1995 Carrera 2. it is currently wearing Pirelli P Zero tires with about 8k miles. The rear tires are almost fully worn on the outside two inches of the tread while the center and inside are still measuring at 5/32. this is consistent for both rear tires.
Is this a result of incorrect pressure, incorrect camber, what??

Ray, I had a full alignment done a few months back because of a bad ball joint on the right front - then again last month because the left front gave out!!!
Do you think that covers the issue and I need my camber changed?

John,
If you have uneven wear as described above, it is most definitely an alignment issue. This could either be a camber or toe issue. You may want to consider another alignment shop.

If the dealer did the job, it is likely that they aligned the car to factory specs and gave you a printout. If you have the printout, it is easy to compare the figures with the factory specs. Assuming the printout shows correct specs, it could be that the kinematic toe bolt was not tightened properly and your toe is now off.
First, take the car back to them and show them the wear. They should offer to at least check the alignment and see what has gone wrong.

I believe I recieved a print out of the specs after the first first job but don't remember getting one the second time.... Hmmmm?
When I get the print out, how do I know that the numbers are correct??? How do I know what factory specs are supposed to be???

The printout should have the specs and the actual results after your car's alignment.

There are the alignment specs in the workshop manuals. There are different settings depending if you are USA/ROW/RS, etc. I can scan in some pictures and then post them for you tomorrow.

John:
You got some good advice regarding the alignment. If the same place is aligning your car and the same problem persists, I would think that either the dealer alignment is way off or you have some worn parts in the rear that the dealership is to lazy to diagnose. Other parameters to check would be tire pressures. Perhaps there is a very competent race shop in your area that has the tools and expertise to set your kinematic toe in the rear. I would seek out such a shop if time and workload permit. Wearing the outer edge of the tire sounds like a toe problem to me. If it were excessive positive camber, your car would look pretty weird.

Glad I saw this thread - I also have early wear on the outside edge of my rear PZero's.
Anyone out there know a good alignment shop in Orange County, CA?
