Hi there, when my 94 cabrio top folds, the bar inside the top does not drop down, the top cannot fold correctly and cannot aviod the pins.
I think there should be some elastic straps and rubber clips to pull the bar down so the top can fold down correctly to aviod the pins.
Would anyone please show me where are these elastic straps should be? I want to put them back inside my top.

Raise the top about 20 or 30 degree up and go to the sides of the car near the end of the flat area of the top, toward the rear. You'll see a small openning. Look inside or stick your hand in there you'll find the elastic probably broken loose somewhere. You'll see the remaining of it still on the bar too where it broke from. It's doable but you have little room to work in there. Raise more or lower the top to get more room as needed. I used needle and thread with new elastic to sew them back. Make sure the elastic being stretched enough during installation so it has pulling force when the top is up.
