Pirelli PZero Life?
With my daily driver, looks like I am going to get about 5-6000 miles from my Pirelli Pzero Assimetrico rear tires.
I am happy with the dry and wet grip and general performance chracteristics.
What should I expect here?
Thanks, Nick

When I use to drive mine more on the street I used the P0 A tires. I got just about 5000 miles on them. That seems to be what they give you specially if you drive them hard on the street or do any auto-x.
I am surprised you are happy with the wet traction. I thought they were rather average to poor as compared to many of the other high performance tires in that category. I like the dry traction though!

Kary,
Performance in the dry works just fine for me, with good feel, traction and feedback.
I'm not trying to play Michael Schumacher in the wet , racing SUV's, etc., on my way home from work, and expect to get some aqua-planing from the large contact surface.
I am far from the limit in a rear-engine 911 on the street - which is 98% of my mileage - in the wet, so I will trade this off for the Pzero dry weather performance.

Nick, I got over 10K miles on my rears (N2) from new - mix of 75% motorway, 25% twisties. Obviously a bit cooler over here ......
Its probably worth checking alignment unless you're normally hard on tyres, a 4S should be more even on tyres than a 2S, I would think. Any unevenness / feathering ?
Cheers, Maurice

I think they are a very noisy tire with ok grip. I will have to try something else next time.

Over 7000 miles on my SO2's so far, both front and rear, and they seem to be good for at least as much - on my 3,6 turbo in a hot climate and with "regular enthusiastic and spirited driving" - but they are very noisy. Grip and roadholding EXCELLENT both in wet and dry conditions.

My rear N2's are gone at 5500. Fronts look barely used. I drive moderately, not stereotypically. I'm not much of a tailgater, and I keep right except to pass. My daily commute is country highway with only two traffic lights in a 15 mile trip. Considering longevity and noise, these are the worst tires I've ever owned. I have contacted Pirelli with a complaint letter. I have also ordered some Yokohamas from tire rack, to be delivered tomorrow.
