Anyone familiar with Premier Sportscars out of Springfield Mo.?
Anyone familiar with them? They are at premier
I'm looking at buying something from them but I uncovered what looks like shill bidding.
On October 14th, they suppossedly sold this Ferrari. They gave feedback, and the buyer also gave feedback about the great transaction and great car. The buyer said "GORGEOUS CAR! Car was delivered to me as described. A++++++++++ SELLER." Premier left feedback about the buyer and said " Great asset to ebay." Both comments seem normal enough until you notice the same car back up for sale with not a single additional mile on the odometer.
The identical car is now up for sale - same mileage, same V.I.N. How great can a car be that you give feedback and then never actually drive the car even one mile?
I'm concerned that the buyer and seller may be in cahoots together. I'm looking at buying the turbo style rear wing (no one here gets to outbid me!) and lo and behold - the guy who "bought" the Ferrari is now bidding on the wing.
Any thoughts or opinions? Anyone have experience with this dealer?
Thanks in advance.

I have heard some less than favorable Premier stories... I think I read a few on this forum.
Might want to try a search.
I was in competition with them once when I was selling a C2 turbo... The Buyer bought mine, but Premier keep lowing their price on the C2T they had to try & "beat" me. Did not work... Quality prevailed over price.

There was a guy here that posted about Premier about a 993 that he bought there. They did not disclose a rear end collision from what I remember. When I read that I decided to not entertain any of their cars. They are way out of line when pricing their cars anyway

A lot of negative feedback comes from readers here but I had a favorable experience there and got a very good car that was well represented and checked out well in all respects with no surprises then or now many months later. Couldn't be happier.

Like Dan in St. Louis said "your story doesn't surprise me"...
I'm the one who had the horrible experience with Premier Sportscars on a Speed Yellow '98 C2S that Dan posted the link to.
I personally would not deal with them again if they were the last car dealership left in the world. Guess I'd have to start walking or riding a bike instead, if it meant having to deal with those guys one more time.
If you choose to deal with them...be VERY careful.
