He even has a Euro GT2 up for a pretty damn good price.
It's tough to visit that site.

Of course. Wool, the natural fiber. I stand corrected.
Now there's that business of filling my garage with other high-end exotics to insure a robust price when it comes time to sell my cab....

I am so glad I read this thread as I had been under the misimpression that Astro-Turf was the best material on which to park a 993 - Whew! Disaster averted.

NO, NO, NO, Fisher!! It's prescription turf or synthetic grass, not astro-turf!! You know, the prescription turf has little beads of rubber made out of old used tires allowing your 993 tires to mentally connect with the former tires in the turf that have been turned into little rubber beads!! It's a tire thing man!!
Geez..... :-)

Billh1963-what color is the car in your avatar? I believe it is the first color I saw on a 993. It was on the cover of Road & Track or Car & Driver in 1995 and I always liked it.

Nope, not for sale yet - but if the right silver C4S comes along, well then, all bets are off. I almost bought the RS wheels a few weeks ago - now that I see them on the car, I think I prefer the hollow spokes. Whew, expenditure averted.
As for the rest of the Rennlist crew, it's all about natural fibers, so someone ought to give that riviera blue TT owner a call to inquire as to precisely what kind of carpet he has. He should be able to answer that without seeing a financial statement.

Is this guy EVER going to sell that car! It's been for sale for... a longgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg time.
This is one of the reasons I bought a silver car. Easy to sell - FAST, if I have to.
I wonder how hard it is to sell cars this color (orange you glad you're here)

Speaking of colors, I recently saw a 993 4S on the road in a dark metallic silver. Similar to the new dark silver available on VW Jettas and Golfs this year. Now THAT looked good. Was is a stock color for the 993? It's the only one I've ever seen in that color. Sure stands out from the regular light silver.
Thanks,
Peter

Colors are subjective to taste. Very few people liked colorful warhol paintings when it came out, but now, they are considered masterpieces. As a kid, I used to love the orange, light/turquoise blues, greens and etc of the 911's but nowadys the silver's, midnight blues, and etc. are considered good taste. These colors are beautiful too, but I, certainly, love the turquoise blue I got from Bill. Cheers.

I saw a Riv Blue TT yesterday, driving in Short Hills NJ, through the salt water snow runoff-can't be this guy I guess, wouldn't want to mess up the carpet . . . I don't take my car out in those conditions, I couldn't this guy was doing just that.
