Zaino for my Birthday
Hi Everyone,
Today is my birthday, and I got a $100 Zaino gift certificate. For those of you who have used Zaino, can you give me your advise on what to purchase. If it matters, my car is Arctic Silver.

Try the Zaino Bros' Total Protection Show Car Kit about $85 then maybe the leather cleaner, you'll get free shipping and that will kill the hun . Remember there is a difference between the clearcoat/non-clearcoat polish, I belive your car is a clearcoat.

it is worth the trip down the 405 to the LA distributor. he will give you lots of advice on what to get and how to apply. make sure to buy some of his towels.
i think i spent about $100 first time there...included the 2 clay bars and some towels.
this is assuming that the gift certificate is good at his distributorship.

Just read it, Max. Thanks so much. Regarding, Zaino, I have the gift ceritificate at home. I believe the certificate was purchased on 'zainostore.com', so i am not sure if it is transferable at the LA distributorship.

Romeo,
I also use Zaino... first on the Cobra, and now on the Porsche. The L.A. distributor is a guy named Ira (310)478-4092, a really nice, down to earth guy. We had him come out to a "Zaino party" (you really gotta be a car nut), and he showed us how to use the stuff, and sold us a bunch of Zaino. Everyone has been very happy with the results.

Get the little plastic syringe too...makes mixing and using the product easier, plus you don't leave so much behind in the bottle.
Don't bother with their applicators. Buy some quality microfiber towels.
Also, read up on www.autopia.org They have tons of tips and such.
Don't scrimp on the prep. Strip everything with Dawn, use the clay bar, etc. Here is a link for what I did on mine:

phatbut-
I agree with JPS on the microfiber...........I've got some small ones for applicators, med. polishing and large for drying. I also learned about 'em on Autopia, they work great and a little expensive but I bought mine on ebay (not bad). Do check out www.autopia.org great info.
BTW........Here's my "Zaino Baby"
