I just think with that bumper design and fixed PORSCHE badge, the model badge has a chance of looking odd.
Maybe because the tail lights are so high up and in-line with the middle bar.

992 is a winner. I like it better than my 991.2. Brake light will be fixed. Love the LED photo shop above!

I think due to the widely differing looks you can get on the same car with paint, wheels, trim and 2/4wd, I'd really have to see a 991.2 and 992.1 on the configurator in as close a spec. as possible before making any calls. Anyway, it’s obvious that the 992 is a 911, which is what counts, I suppose...

Love love love it; all of it.
BTW - does this blue look a little cobalt-ish to you? I’m hoping it’s some where in the middle between the super dark midnight, and the sapphire. My wife went crazy when she saw this blue: “I LOVE that blue”

Yeah, that blue is beautiful. I've found sapphire to be a bit too bright for my taste, but I'm looking for my next car to be something a bit lighter than my current Dark Blue Metallic. This might be a great option!
I really hope we see a whole new set of colors and not just a couple changes....

Supposedly someone at PCNA and/or PAG check Rennlist from time to time. I'm mostly fan of the exterior on the 991.3 based on the latest blue car spy shots simply because it looks like a 991.2, but why on Earth did you put the front bumper *from* the new Panamera and Cayenne *on* the 911, their icon??? And turning the interior into the Cayenne/Panamera? If I wanted that look, I'll buy a Cayenne or Panamera. Keep the 911 unique as it deserves that. It is the benchmark for all sports cars, don't just homogenize this legendary car with the rest of the model lineup..... sigh #rantover lol

And if someone from Porsche is reading this: How could you get the interior and rear tail light designs so wrong? Perhaps you want less sales? Please afford yourselves some inspiration from the 991.1's tail light design & needs to be taken into account. As for the interior, maybe...Singer?

Now I officially hate the rear. Didn't like the center pipes and side vents on the .2, but looking at those cars side my side, IMO this is a big step backward in aesthetics. And that spoiler - wtf were they thinking? It makes the back look like a clam. Porsche is dragging us backwards into the future.

They both called me on three way.. They said stop whining.

Honestly, what's more important to me is, what's the power like and have they improved the sound.

Man if only they could find a way to make them less huge and lighter...they will have power and sound and all the other goodies...but they are just so huge.
Every time I get in to an older 911, even a 997, I'm like right...the 911 is like an Aston Martin these days.

And those wheels look like something off of an '82 LeBaron. Porsche, please bring back some aggressive wheel choices and stop with the 15 spoke luxo wheels.

I care much more about the looks on the exterior and interior honestly, as a main reason I love the 911 is because of the iconic look. They messed up with the 996 by a simple headlight IMO (interior not so nice either) and look at how it profoundly impacted how we now view/bias that gen compared with other gen 911s. The new interior triggers me because, again, if I wanted what the Cayenne is becoming I would buy (and I already own) a Tesla Model X. Look at how many are interested by this revival in analog, leather (lol), worn, authentic, mechanical things. An Apple Watch is a device, a tool, where a Swiss watch can be an heirloom, a treasured memory, a passion, etc.... Which one would we want and which type of car does Porsche want to have for the 911. Look at Singer and how many dream of owning one but never will, the 911 should be what those guys look to as the attainable, perfect car.
Instead its going to become the Tesla 911P3.0S
That being said I'm also queued up for a 992 lol

I'm not as down on the design as most people seem to be. But I guess the rear light design seems to harken to the 993 and 964 in that all models get a full length strip? I kind of liked that in more recent models (996 on), the strip was reserved for the C4/4S versions.
