Still not a fan of the rear end. Overall, though, it isn't bad. I like the front. I like the color, too. A little more purple in it than Sapphire Blue (I still prefer SB) but it looks good.
And 99.8 percent of the population won't be able to tell it from a 991 LOL, which isn't surprising since 98.2 percent cannot tell a 991 from a 997...
I need to see it totally uncamo'd in a color I like with wheels I like before passing judgement. I think I'm liking the front end, but I'm not sure about that rumpus.
I´m really positive surprised about the more or less final look.
really like the siloutte (almost no change to the 991) and now also like the rear look better than before! Hope that completely wo camoflage it will finaly look noticable different to the Panamera rear. Exhaust style with 4 pipes looks great, front looks nice as well!
colour is the first blue I actually would consider to choose - although I still might prefer grey colour...
the third break lights still something to digest...
overall, more than happy to have one at pre-order, following my Panamera e-hybrid. btw, actually really enjoy the much more modern interier - one reason why I did choose in 2017 the Panamera instead the 991.2!
Only thing is that 3rd brake light... maybe when all the wraps come off it won't be that bad.
In looking back at the Nurburgring video (sorry for the grainy snap pic) with the tail up on the 992, it has the horizontal 3rd brake light integrated into the spoiler just like the current 991. It's hard to imagine we'll have 2 brake lights:-)
My only two gripes, I'm surprised the 3rd brake light made it to the final design, and whats up with the hood line, I was expecting it to be fully inline with the fenders.
I think everything else looks really good.
Hood is hideous. Reminds me an f40, except the f40 has sharp angles throughout whereas the 992 does not.
I'm thinking that the center brake light will end up being a couple of LED strips between the air intake slats. It should look pretty nice. Also, once the black appliqué is removed from the taillights and the area above the license plate and along the parking sensors, the rear end will be just fine. We were thinking of trading my wife's 997.2 coupe for a 991.2 Targa, but after seeing that blue color we'll most likely wait for the 992 Targa. Despite all of the whining, the bottom line is it still looks like a 911 and will still drive like a 911. In terms of price, performance and practicality, there isn't another car I'd rather have.
