Suspect this is indeed the real deal. A 992 with the sport design kit.
My initial impression is that I like it, but not as much as my 991.1 which seems cleaner in design.
Zooming in on the interior its almost clearly not a 991.2 with some body kit. The Interior seems to look like the Panamera (see the Sport Chrono and wide screen location).

I like it a lot. Still not interested in buying a 3.0 TT but it looks great front and back. Modernized 991.

I have yet to see a spy pic with the 991.2 PSE styled center exhaust tips. I wonder if this was a one hit wonder?

Puleeze.
Top to bottom: WTF with the two big vertical things on the intake? Brake lights? Come on.
The spoiler seam cuts diagonally straight across ruining one of the most beautifully sculpted features anywhere in the automotive world. Compare to the curve used on the 991. Cannot be right.
The light bar with PORSCHE homage can work, but not with the Dodge inspired shape brake lights. Not even.
That huge black panel with painted lower trim has got to be one of the ugliest bits of design since, oh, take your pick: Chevy Avalanche, Pontiac Aztek.
All of these will be corrected. None will make it out the door. Achleitner and Mauer busting a gut, April Fool's came early this year.

Either way, still a close approximation of the final car, based on the mules we've seen.

I kinda like it, especially how they've cleaned up the bumper of all the creases and that awful ridge that stuck out. Much more simple and clean. In the right color I think that *** could look really mean.

It's neither gorgeous nor bad,......
spoiler looks a bit smaller compared to the massive flying-nun look of the first shots, I do like the light updates although they look a bit "squinty" for my tastes. The Porsche lettering could work well, but will
be a pain to clean around along with the ever present wordy model IDs stuck somewhere. What will it look like with a model delete? (I always do this)....there is a lot of space that will remain empty. Could look
alright in person though.
I do not like the huge area between the bumper crease and the end of the valence below the exhaust,....the 991.x is just so much better, cleaner here. In this guise it looks like a street sweeper, all they need is a rubber flap along the lower edge and it looks like it could hit the streets @ 4am for a trash cleanup. The rear grill look is not fantastic either, looks more like a 90's Ferrari door styling queue,....and the big hard looking vast black plastic piece is terrible, the 991.1/2 is much nicer here.
C'mon Porsche, give us something updated, wide and clean looking. I don't mind the wider fenders, but dump the bulbous looking rear,....tuck it all in a bit. Just modernize the 991 back a bit and be done with it. No need to make it look like every other model in the lineup. (not going to happen though)
(I too think this could be a bit of a hoax and just another sort of testing mule. Paints all off, nothing really too close to production.)

Looks a little less organic than the last few versions. I think the 992 is gonna be a serious leap towards modernization (inside and out) which might conflict a little with the basic curves and classic image of the 911. Definitely will be 2 schools of thought on this one but eventually everyone will get used to it and it wont matter because theyre still amazing cars and people will buy them.... turbos, batteries, cupholders and all.
