It seemed to imply, “It’s not the tune, it’s an inherent flaw in the car.” If that wasn’t the intended meaning behind a thread link with no context as to why you posted it, my sincere apologies. My suppression comment was in reference to the post by jlegelis regarding posting about issues with the tune in the public forum. That wasn’t the first time it had been suggested that talking about ME’s tune issues in public was taboo.

Counterpoint: I appreciate when folks thoughtfully post about their experiences, both positive and negative. Threads similar to this one were the impetus for which vendor I selected to tune my car.

Yeah it shouldn't be doing that at all. I read about issues like this with their tune before deciding to go with another vendor for my tune for my .1 GTS. It's smooth as butter and no weirdness ever. Runs as good as stock just now with a wall of torque!

I would give M-engineering a shot to try and fix it. But I really dont see why any basic OTS tune should have issues out the box. We are all fans of the companies we love. So shrug off the haters if they come at you for asking questions. It's good threads like this exist, so others researching can understand potential issues before deciding who to go with.

My 992.1 GTS has this stutter when cold but smooths out once warm. No big deal.

The tuning company I chose to use didn’t need multiple revisions to get it right. It was spot on from day one……and still running perfectly.

Nothing intended other than placing the link to more experiences on the issue. People can make up their own mind.

I had a C4 base in 2017 and thought it could use a bit more power, so I ordered a C4S this time …

I had a 17-4s tuned from them without any issue. Im sure if you hit them up they will do everything they can to make you happy. I have to close the valves from time to time on my TTS as I drive in Sport 99% of the time. It can be boomy around 2200 rpm running the 100% open valve file

I’m having a problem with my pacemaker. Anyone know of a good forum to post on? Oh wait. I just found the manufacturer’s phone number.🤣🤣

Stock exhaust open is not annoyingly loud as long as you aren't revving the engine or gunning it....probably not the things you want to do anyways if you are a reasonable neighbor. The most obnoxious part with open valves is the cold start, but you can have that tuned off with the tune.

Thanks for that link, the car is new to me so I'm beginning to sort things out. I guess I was spot on with the 2200 rpm boom comment

The noise is really a gift to everyone that doesn’t have a 911. What kind of horrible person would deprive their neighbors of such a glorious sound? For the sake of humanity, be a good person everyone and crank those valves open on cold start.
