Proper 3D printer. $1,500
3D printing material: $50
Creality Scanner: $750
Body Shop Painting: $100
Filler, etc.: $50
Total: $2,450
Approx. $2,500 plus your time. Not exactly $20.
If you had the scanner and printer already, of course you would own material to print and maybe the amount used plus other costs plus the body shop painting would be $125 - $150 total.

I posted this for those on the fence about getting their feet wet in this space....relax.
I dig the self supporting nature of being able to create a part if need be. A colleague of mine just printed up the adapters to get the Morel 93A speaker system to fit perfectly into the oem door locations. It's a nice tool to have in your box.

I wish more people had 3d printers, I also wish I had a laser cutter/plasma cutter, 3d printer, and more as the things you can make with it are untold.

It is also unfortunate that I used to be good at cad software for making 3d stuff at my school as they had a small printer, I will add all that stuff to my ever growing list of stuff to get haha, it is always something, guns, cars, shop tools, watches, mods for cars, you name it.
