Default Turbonite Airbag

Christmas gift to myself. Finally ordering but OCD kicking so please, to this eof you who have ordered the airbag.
What part number did you have and what is the color of the ring around the airbag.,
I was told it comes ins silver, black, turbonite and neodyme.

@f4bones confirmed p/n 9J1-880-201-N-I45
but I have also read off p/n 9Y4-880-201-S

-1A6 a part that was for sale by @Migmann (https://rennlist.com/forums/market/1484167)
Lastly, I searched teh forum for this but could not find, one of us recently bought it, and posted their p/n and that person also had a different p/n and ring color I believe,
So would love a definite answer before I order.
Tonight has not been good for me. ordered too many stupid things from Europe.
And being poorly influenced to add other mods by friends here.
Thank you.

Parts that are physically the same but are for a different model will have different part numbers.

The Turbonite horn airbag is no different...Taycan's, 911's, Cayenne's and Panamera's may share the exact same part, but will have a different Porsche part number.

Porsche does this with lots of parts!

hey. thanks for confirming that. I had encountered that with other similar parts. but I do think the ring color is different.
For example, I know that The "IA6" in Porsche part numbers (like 9Y4-880-201-S-IA6) isn't a standard exterior paint color code but signifies an interior trim code for "Black/Black" combinations, often for the instrument cluster or steering wheel, in this case for Porsche Cayenne (E3 / 9Y0–9Y4 generation.
whereas 9J1-880-201-N-I45 is the same item (880-201) but labelled for a Porsche Macan (9J1) and a different color scheme (I45 actually corresponds to Agate Grey interior in the Porsche catalog).

Thats why I wanted to see what others actually got and how/what the last 3 digits correspond to.

Yep, you are correct.

You will find different physical attributes and combinations for the same part...that may not be option when placing your cars order.

If you find something that works...then it's a nice way to customize your car.

Magic phrase:
"If you find something that works"

Thats what I am trying t do.

I think I want the turbonite ring around the airbag vs a black ring and so far no luck in getting that exact part number.

Which model have you seen that particular version...if you have that, then the rest may be a little easier to track down.

Alas, I searched the forum for this info but could not find it. I searched three specific threads I thought it could be in.

Is this the one?...
This is from a 2025 Porsche Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid
VIN...WP0AF2YA5SL080232
This info may assist you in finding one.... let me know if you are successful...looking for one also.
Having the VIN, you may be able to have the dealer provide the part number.

It's a bit premature but I'm working with a friend in europe to exactly duplicate the Turbonite airbag covers, and also produce the vinyl hood emblem in Turbonite for the GT3RS. First samples were received last week - from photos, look good . . .

Once we get these in production, will post info here on how to purchase . . .
