So, what would be the process in replacing just the airbag emblem?

I assume just removing the airbag assembly, then removing the cover somehow...without deploying the air bag of course.

Where is the best/cheapest place to buy the turbonite airbag unit with the black ring? I see some covers that look like leather maybe? Is there an entire airbag unit that has a turbonite badge with leather cover with GT silver stitching? Is that asking too much? I’d rather not mess with taking apart the airbag unit and would prefer to install one that hasn’t been tampered with by me.

 

Also are there turbonite valve stem caps available anywhere? OCD is strong haha.

 

Anything ever come from this? I know I'm late to the party but hunting one of these down for my 992.1 GT3.
