Hey gang, just wanted to share some pics and thoughts from a recent road trip I took my 992 on. I drove from Barrington, Illinois (Chicago burbs) to Carefree, Arizona (Scottsdale-ish). I averaged 79 mph and the drive time took 23 hours! The car drove incredible. My car has adaptive CC which made the drive super easy! I also have the extended gas tank and was getting close to 550 miles out of the tank. The US is such a cool country and ripping a 911 across it is truly an amazing experience! Anyway, here are some pics I took along the way!
Awesome, I love road trips. everyone who lives in the US owes it to themselves to drive and explore as much of the country as they can, there are some amazing places and roads out there. I've only done it in my AMGs but I hope to take the 911 out west some day.
Awesome! I recently travelled from Nashville to the other side of Chattanooga...holy crap. The foliage and the views were incredible! Totally unplanned/unexpected. Route 74 / Lake Ocoee area of Southeast TN. It was like driving through a Bob Ross painting.
My road trip from Iowa to our home in Florisa was great until I had a flat trire the midle of Illinios on a Sunday afternoon, Flat beaded to the Periora Porsche dealership, great people by the way,Wednesday morning I was back on the road to Florida.,
However, I'll do it in reverse in early June. Far more good than bad on a road trip.
