Default Which Wheels? :)

I know I've asked for comments on my build. Thanks for all this. I'm pretty happy with everything I've chosen but I'm second-guessing the wheels. My current choice are the Carrera S painted black with polished surfaces. However, I really like the Spyder wheels. I didn't choose them because you can't get them black with polished surfaces. They come in silver. Now that I looked at that again, I'm starting to like them. Pictures of the two options are attached. In the pictures, the Carrera S shells draw my eyes to the wheels more than the Spyder wheels do. As a result the car looks more "balanced" to me with the Spyder wheels. I'm just not sure if the silver will work well with the ice grey car in real life. It's going to be hard to see this combination in person, unfortunately.
No need to reply to the post unless you really want to. Mostly I'm interested in the poll results just to see if there's a obvious favorite .

Pick the nicest free wheels and spend the $3-4k you'd spend on nicer wheels on a set of aftermarket wheels instead.
Spyders are nice but heavy.

Get a set of HRE S107SCs. Best aftermarket wheel there is!

Interesting suggestion. However, I have a hard enough time choosing car color, wheel color, wheel style. I can't imagine having even more choices of wheels .
Ok, I'm kind of kidding, but kind of not really

Yes, but you have all the time in the world to find the right aftermarket wheel.
You don't have all the time in the world to submit your final build.

Very true. But I do have till 8/27. I'm also not (yet) committed to getting aftermarket wheels. So I'd rather have wheels I really like in case I decide to just keep them.

I’ve been looking at the S107SC in a free color with a polished lip and on 21/22 they raised the MSRP to $18,500. Obviously can probably get a discount but still with tires and TPMS it’s a $20,000 set of wheels.

How about the Carrera Classic Wheels? I think they look great with IGM exterior.

Thanks.
But for some reason, I don't like those wheels as much as the others. They look a little too "chunky" for me.

I love the Spyder RS wheels but they are a pain to keep clean.

Yeah, that was definitely one of the factors. And, after looking at both options for a while, I find myself liking the contrast of the black with polished.

I prefer the polished. My understanding is that you’ll need to find a wheel shop that offers “diamond cutting.” This process removes a thin layer from the surface to create that polished look, followed by a clear coat on top.

Why would he need to find a wheel shop? That diamond cut face is a factory option.

It's not offered on the Spyder wheels.
