Just had my first service after 2 years and total of 3,300 miles. The interior air filter is shown as maintenance required. I've been assured it has been done but despite informing garage of this prior to collection and even at point of collection I was informed the system would be updated but takes some time, giving the impression this could be done remotely rather than locally? However a minor issue, but since receiving the car back the oil level indicates 37% switched off and 62% when running, previously it was 100% in both conditions, although in the green I'd prefer it was restored to its original new condition.
Finally I was informed the tracking was off on all 4 wheels, what after so little mileage with tyres & alloys in pristine condition, I believe more a money making exercise.
Most of these cars roll off of the carrier at delivery needing an alignment. Typically, the dealers will do the first one for free.
Your oil level observations don't make a lick of sense and if you're in the green, do not matter. This is like fretting over tire pressure changes.
Should have been after 1 year for the oil change etc.
Almost everywhere else in the world, Porsche follows 2 year service intervals. They've stuck to 1 year service intervals in the US, because Americans can't get their heads around 20k mile oil changes.

Probably because they dont make sense
And for sure because they dont have class action lawsuits and all the lawyers we have.
Side note, been watching all these YT Videos with knocking Porsche engines all due to scoring from infrequent oil changes. 10k is long, 20k is cray cray.

It's because the US does not have the same stringent environmental laws as the rest of the world. 20K oil service intervals, particularly for a high performance engine, do not do much to benefit the life of a vehicle driven harder than a minivan.
Conversely, changing oil at 10K or even 5K intervals has no negative effects to the motor. From my perspective it's cheap insurance for a very expensive engine, of which I have done over 30 oil changes on my car. It takes me about 1/2 hour and half a roll paper towels on bad day.
Getting back to the environment. I agree fewer oil changes reduce the amount of oil that needs to be recycled, the energy costs for that recycling, and subsequent waste, but I see any contribution by the relative tiny numbers of Porsches on the road as a trivial burden.

Absolutely 100%. I have two friends that are Porsche technicians, One at a dealer, the other at the corporate owned service center in Atlanta, Georgia. Both have highly recommend not to adhere to 10k oil changes.
