Thank you.
They are plastic. What do you mean by “greying”. To your further point, there us nothing to be sprayed on them.

I hear 303 protectant works well. I’ve never kept a car long enough to test the theory, but the product has great reviews and does make the black plastic look darker and more glossy. If you don’t daily it, probably don’t need a UV protectant tho. Plenty of it mixed into the plastic during manufacture.

I guess i figured that they would becposed to a lot of debris etc so a protective spray would help.

Yeah, not a daily driver. Bought it April 1, and have only gotten to drive it three times between delivery storage and slight modifications.
I guess I wont be needing anything.
Thank you

thank you. Yes that’s basically what I was looking for. Good results? Applies right away? After or before install? Happy you did? Meaning happy with end result?
thank you again.

@smahini how would these side skirts be any different than other black-ish plastic on the car (i.e. front / rear bumpers, mirrors, and moldings)?

My concern is the flat horizontal surface on the top of the GT3 side skirt will be more exposed to the sun, and collect particulate matter. I purchased
matt ceramic coating matt ceramic coating
, to make it easier to clean, and provide some UV protection, which could help against sun damage to the plastic. I have a bias towards matt finish as a dirty matt finish is less noticeable than a glossy surface that isn't clean.

there should be no difference actually.
the rear diffuser / valence is made of polypropylene. And I think the front spoiler is as well. But it’s exactly that. This part just feels like it has more exposed horizontal surface area. So I thought some kind of simple spray would not hurt. And yes. I bought this specifically because I like the matt finish that matches the other plastic parts. It offers a nice minimalist contrast.

I applied it right after installing them, but you could do it at any point as long as they have just been cleaned. Since they were new, it didn't significantly alter the look (compared to faded trim), but it did give it a slightly deeper, satin black appearance. I like to apply ceramic protection to my black trim parts to help them stay clean and protected.

Ceratrim is the only plastic ‘protectant’ I have ever used that actually works. This stuff is fantastic. It restores gray plastic back to black and it stays that for more than a year. Ceratrim

DB Carbon GT3 sideskirts from Germany on my 992.1 T. Love them. Install was easy and they slipped onto the OEM side skirt clips without any issue.
