MJ w/ UV lenses and Titanium frames. Lightweight and comfortable but great at the job of actually working. I don’t have any front window tint so they really help. I do get some rainbow effect at certain angles on side window (tinted) but nothing that obscures my vision.

I pulled out an old pair of Maui Jims, and they work great with the Targa top closed. Once it is open (especially in the early morning or late afternoon) I need something darker. I guess I need two pairs in the car depending on the light. Anyone with Targa/convertible experience have suggestions for this issue?
I must admit I have never thought about sunnies matching the car I drive until reading this thread. Amazing. So what goes with my 17 year old son's first ****box?
I have a lot of good quality sunglasses, mostly MJ's bc as I said to a friend "when I put them on, my eyes go ahhhhhhh." I have some TAG Heuers and Persols as well, love my Steve McQueen shades.
Serengeti sunglasses with mineral gradient drivers non-polarized lenses. The mineral glass and metal frame can be left in the car without fear of heat damage. The gradient drivers lens is less tinted on the lower portion to allow a better view of the instruments. The lens is photo-chromatic and the lens colour enhances contrasts which also benefits when driving in lower visibility conditions. Non-polarized lenses allow me to properly see the HUD in our other car.
I love my polarized Maui Jim’s for other activities, but I rarely wear them for driving.

I'm a huge Oakley fan because of their unobtanium. I won't wear any sunglasses without an unobtanium nose bridge, because it just doesn't slide down. I'm currently using a Portal X with prescription. If you're a Vet or Military, you can get a good deal on Oakley SI.
As far as any change since Luxxotica acquired them, I haven't seen any.
I wouldn't mind trying some handmade Japanese glasses, but would need to visit a store before spending that kind of money.
Same here, Maui Jim’s. Tried many other brands and always come to the conclusion they are the best ( at least for me). Last time I bought a pair, the store owner told me that Mauri Jim has a lifelong lens replacement warranty.
I broke my Maui Jim frames , sent them in and received a brand new pair for something like $60. Very nice policy for customers.
