As to the OP's question, if it has been imported properly (it sounds that is has), I wouldn't let that stop me. However, as a Canadian who has brought numerous American cars into Canada, the market for the Canadian car will be smaller than if it were a US car. Just like you are questioning the purchase, so too will others. If I was in the US with a much larger car market, I probably wouldn't go after a Canadian car unless it was the perfect spec and a bargain.
No, the digital speedo in the center tach, which can NOT be changed without what was said earlier.

This has been easily changed on 996s, 997s, and 991s that I’ve driven. In the settings.
Is this no longer the case with 992s? @Onami are you able to change between metric and imperial for the speedometer and odometer on your new 992?
I stand corrected. Just checked mine this morning and you can change everything to miles except the speedo. Weirdest thing as I too had previous models that changed easily. WTH Porsche? Another bewildering change. I guess for my 1 month trip to the US I will be doing a lot of converting on the go!

So you have a 992 (a "Canadian" C36 992) and the digital speedometer below the tach will only read in KMH?
Another question for US 992 owners: Can you change the digital speedometer below the tach (not the traditional graphic speedometer to the left of the tach which is now also digital in the 992 but appears traditional when on) from MPH to KMH?
If this very simple and long standing flexibility has disappeared, then I too am mildy shocked. 911s in North America very regularly travel in the US, Canada, and Mexico and if the very simple ability to scroll between metric and imperial settings for speed has been lost then I am disappointed. Very backwards step Porsche.

not the speedo but then you cannot connect to the us PCM connect
