Default Meisterwerk Wheels Review

I didn't find a dedicated thread so thought I'd start this so I can share my experience so far with Jake and his product.

My main motivation for changing wheels is purely for aaesthetics. They don't need to be lightweight and I wanted to try a specific style. None of the big wheel companies had what I wanted so I reached out to Jake. And TBH I'm tired of paying exorbitant prices for wheels that aren't even made of exotic materials. Done wasting $10-$13k just to make the car look different.

Getting wheels from is pretty much like having an order allocation from Porsche with full carte blanche to CXX and PTS with no ADM.

Styles, sizes, widths, offsets, colors. Anything is possible. And bonus, it was less than half the price of what I usually spent on wheels.

They arrived today and they look great. Took about a week to come up with the design and sizes. Pay half. Order submitted, a few weeks later production pics. Pay balance. Shipped. A few weeks later they're delivered. Design confirmed 7/26. Delivered 9/4.

Boxes

Great packaging

Information stamped inside inner barrel

Went with:
20x9.5 et40 23.6 lbs
21x12 et44 29.8 lbs

OEM for comparison:
F 21.2 lbs
R 26.2 lbs

So 12 lbs heavier. I'll take it. Will get pics up after install.

Give him a shout. This guy doesnt sleep. I have no skin in the game.

Not each; in the aggregate.

FWIW - I have had the same experience with Jake - beautiful quality wheels, and good service at a great price. Wheels are on the heavy side, but acceptable given the price. I have a custom set of S/T copies pending - can't wait to see them!

I mean, is anyone shocked that you can get a heavy wheel made in China made for less money?

The rears are rated for 790kg, the design I chose has more spokes than OEM and the rears are a half inch wider. To be 3.8lbs heavier and cost about a third is a win in my book. I don't think many of the big companies wheels are saving any weight either.

Those look awesome! Question: are you getting new TPMS sensors or swapping them over from the old set?

Thanks for the lead - wonder if he could replicate the Dakar wheels (black centers, silver barrels like old turbo/fuchs) in proper offsets for a T? Looks great; congrats!

I was wondering too. I'm planning on them doing these wheels with a polished lip and barrel. I'm just waiting on the car to finally get here...

I bought new tires and tpms. It seems I'm a wheel and tire hoarder. It's really getting out of control.

Really a bargain. 😁
