Somehow the planets aligned this week, and I stumbled upon a CPO'd 278-mile 2024 C2S that had everything I wanted on it. #1 priority: Manual. Had other wish list items, too, like Burmester, etc. but wha really hooked me was the Heritage interior. I inquired about it on Sunday night at 10PM from the PorscheUSA website and the dealer responded within minutes. Made the deal on Monday morning- It already had been PPF'd, so basically MSRP plus the cost of PPF, and he deducted the cost of covered transport from Chicago to FL- due to arrive on Monday.

Uuuuugly. Black and white checks with brown? NO. Porsche always has some historical reason for their fashion mistakes

there’s too much variation between the nice cognac color and the stark white and black. It’s a modern car, idk why people are trying to make it look like a model from decades ago, I could understand one of those restomods from singer, ruf, etc having some retro seats but doesn’t belong in a 992. And no way they age well with spills, stains, dyed jeans, etc. I get the intent for throwback but it’s a bit tacky looking for a modern expensive sports car, belongs in a pimp my ride old school vehicle instead

Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has got one. 🤣 Though common courtesy would be to keep one’s opinions to themselves.

Keep in mind it was simply a package (Heritage) that has since been discontinue and like all other things at Porsche that are limited-run, it is bound to be fairly desirable many years later. As aforementioned the Heritage package was solely offered to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Porsche as well as the 60th anniversary of the 911. It had a celebratory purpose for PAG and if one cannot grasp that then they are not appreciating it for its significance.
