The space is a bit cramped, so the process of holding the cupholder arm with one hand and threading the nut with the other does take a few attempts -- but once you align it well enough to start threading then it's a breeze.

To fully tighten it, I used a simple 10mm end wrench. But you can hand tighten the vast majority of the process. On a scale of 1-10 installation difficulty, this is a 1 out of 10 -- takes 1-5 minutes ... depending upon how good your manual dexterity is

Thank you for the very helpful photos and instructions.

I ordered one in black last week. So far no update on delivery time. He had said probably mid September as he was waiting for more orders to go for the black in a batch.
So please all hurry up and order (a black one)…

Thanks for the tip.

I ordered the 14/18 Way Power Seat version on Aug 8th, and it arrived last night. Sending it out to get power coated and then applying the PORSCHE brand mark on it for that extra wow (even though you may never see it unless you bend down).

Mine arrived pretty quick, about a week after I ordered it.

For which one:

(1) The 4-way on an 18 way seat? (https://www.machinedspeed.com/produc...ay-manual-seat)
(2) The 18-way on the 18-way seat (https://www.machinedspeed.com/product/porsche-992-cup)

I received my 18-way version for my 18-way seat and it's getting powder coated right now, but once it's back I will be installing it. Note, I also have the factory fire extinguisher so that should be a nice tight fit!

Just received and installed on my 18 way. Seems that it might limit seat bottom tilting down at the limit. Can someone confirm it should be mounted arcing up vs arcing down? I mounted arcing up but my wife’s smaller travel vessel slips right through lol

It should mount so you can read the brand "MACHINE SPEED". Their brand mark should not be up side down. Mine is still getting powder coating so I have yet to install it, but I should get it back in about a week.

I can confirm it fits with 18 ways and fire extinguisher. I struggled a bit getting the screw threaded, but I'm pretty ham-handed. Probably a 5 minute job for anyone with a modicum of mechanical ability (which I am sad to say I lack).
Nice product - powder coating looks great and blends in nicely.

I knew my beloved Zojirushi wouldn't fit snugly but it won't tip over either. Same for our standard Kirkland water bottles.

Well, the next two modification came in and I finally had time to install them...

(1) Ruby Star Neo Fire Extinguisher with a Yellow label - Very easy to install
(2) MachineSpeed 14/18-Way Power Seats powder coated as close to Ruby Star Neo as possible (paint would have been an exact match, but not as strong for daily use) - PITA to install let me tell you... Looks great with my OG Racing Yellow PORSCHE tumbler!!!

I finished added the PORSCHE word mark to the powder coated cup holder and now it looks finished.

As close to Ruby Star Neo and Racing Yellow as I can get. Looks great and is fully functional!

I just looked for the mounting point, and I couldn't find one that was similar to the passenger side... I guess you can only put one on the passenger side.
