Last week, I went to porsche center Aoyama(Japan) and signed a contract for a 718 Cayman GTS 4.0. During that time, the sales manager told me that the Carrera T and Carrera S would be released in the future, but the availability of a manual transmission is still undecided. I mentioned that I would like to make a contract if a manual option is available, and they said it might be announced soon.

Now that the larger S/GTS turbos are on the base model, I'm going to predict that when they release the T it will have more horsepower than the base. There's plenty of room between the base and S HP for a bump. Equipped with a manual, this will be a very enticing car.
I'm in the camp that says Porsche won't release the T for another 1.5 to 2 years. The S model is the big seller, so that will probably be next. Question is.....will it have a detuned .2 GTS engine, or a .1 engine with a small bump in power like the base engine.

Since no one outside of Porsche engineers really know what's around the corner...
I'll throw in my prediction...
- 992.2 T will be released in 2025 as a 2026 model with a manual option, standard 388 hp base 3.0, interior and exterior T options ...just like the current T.
- 992.2 S will be released in 2025 as a 2026 model with the 53hp electric motor integrated into the PDK, no manual option and standard base 3.0 with boost higher than the T... should produce 450-460hp
- 992.2 GTS will remain at 532hp with the 3.6 hybrid engine with no manual option
This puts approximately 75 hp between these 3 models using off the shelf parts without having to re-invent the wheel!

Truthfully the above seems like the most logical route.

I (and likely plenty of other 992.1 T owners) would be pretty upset if they launched a 992.2 T for 2025 or even in 2025. The T is not supposed to be a "every year" model. That's part of its appeal to many that buy the T.

Well I'm guessing this is one of the announcements which will be revealed in Monterey: https://www.reddit.com/r/whatisthisc...tarmac_car_id/
It appears to be a one-off project based on the 911 GT1

A restomod of some sort, though not sure from who.
The usual suspects, RUF, Singer, Tuhill, etc. all have denied ownership, but who knows for sure if they are being forthright.
But, yes, Porsche has denied it's their product. And they ain't lying about it.
Telltale sign? No Porsche badges or emblems.
