It's also the type of material that's hard to put vinyl over. Wish Porsche would use a more elegant finish or offer carbon fiber for an upcharge. Even corvettes offer a textured type of plastic for bumper trims since plastic looks so cheap. Porsche will say "it's because it's easier to replace as a consequence of track driving "...so thoughtful of Porsche!

Nice exterior color and the cognac interior looks great. The sensors for the ACC look horrible.

Does anyone know if the 992.2 base still lacks a LSD like the 992.1? I like that they added the bigger brakes, turbos, intercoolers etc., but curious if they addressed the LSD omission.

Agree ACC is terrible. I saw one reviewer describe it as WALL-E, and now I can't unsee it.

Do we know if ACC is standard now? Hoping that's still an option.

agreed. I wish they'd make the cohiba/cognac as a standard option (assuming the pic isn't either of those two). The beige color reminds me of what an old person would use and I think they are ugly and look bad after long wear and tear. I'm also not a fan of this blue, looks like any other blue found on cars a 10th of the price. I much prefer the Miami or Mexico, it's a sports car after all it should be a fun exciting color

Yes, it's an option on the configurator, for both base and GTS.

The new blue is a shade or 2 darker compared to Shark Blue - it still looks sporty but not as loud. I personally like it much more. Shark Blue was way too loud on a regular 911.

The shelf is much more noticeable in person and its just cheap black plastic running along the full rear of the car. Just terrible design decision and much worse than 992.1. They should have left the lights alone.

Pretty much every interior and exterior design change on the .2 is for the worse.

They probably changed the taillights to this new design because of how many cracked ones they had to replace on the .1

- No LSD in the .2 "base"...just like the .1 "base"
- Bigger brakes are just 350mm rotors from the .1 "S" instead of 330mm from .1 "base". The .2 base is still using the .1 "base" 4-piston calipers for front and rear
- Turbos are from "S/GTS" (6mm increase in turbine size and 3mm increase in compressor size) with intercooler from "Turbo"
- HP increase from 379 to 388...pretty sure this is from a slightly higher boost over the .1 standard 12psi.

I agree with the ACC comment.... not quite sure what the designers and engineers were thinking when they designed those units.

The 'pagoda' taillights is a result of the bumper being slightly bigger than the .1 in order to fit the hybrid system in the GTS. This doesn't mean Porsche should be absolved of going with a lazy solution but it does explain why they needed a different solution

Here is a side by side of shark blue and lugano blue. As mentioned, Lugano is a few shades darker.
