Default Changing steering wheel fascia

I’m thinking of switching the fascia/trim on my 4GTS to the carbon fiber. Is this as simple as unscrewing the visible screws on the wheel, lifting the old one off, and screwing the new one down, or is it more involved. Anybody know of any YouTube videos that demo this process?

Visible screws are fake. You need to take the wheel off and then remove the back cover. At 7:30 mark of this video.

Its a fairly challenging process - I've done it a few times. Go slow and take your time unsnapping the rear cover - the snaps are very delicate. the Protechparts.eu surrounds are OEM. Here's a thread I posted showing differences between the china and OEM - overall the china ones are pretty good for the price . . .

One thing you might consider - if you were also looking to upgrade to deviated stitching, leather, carbon wrap, or color stripe on the top, it's totally worth it to get a fully custom wheel from protechparts.eu - they are OEM and beautiful and quick service at reasonable prices. I just received two custom carbon fiber / leather wheels from them - beautiful. Here's some photos of the one on my TTS:

Actually considering just purchasing a whole new wheel. It’s cheaper than purchasing the trim piece by itself. Which process is easier, trim only, or whole new wheel with what I want?

WAY, way easier just purchasing a custom wheel from Protechparts.eu - he will make exactly what you want and it will be perfect and plug and play . . . if you have the budget, highly recommend springing for the GT3RS magnesium paddles - he has them on sale at the moment I believe . . .
