Yes, color and aerokits are the only thing that bring attention or give it ‘looks’— a standard 911 without aero or a bright color gets same attention as an Accord. None. Which can be a good thing.

I would think Targa, no question. That large glass bubble and targa bar make it look much different. And just wait until you are in a parking lot, closing or opening the roof. You'll have everyone watching.

In south Florida my previous black Carrera and my current yellow targa do not get any attention or looks.

Can't say I ever felt that my 911 gets much attention. Got more looks in my C8, honestly.

Corvettes used to be so beautiful. There was so much heritage from so many early generations to pull inspiration from, for a newer modern rendition, even if mid-engined. But they went with the “Hot Wheels” mash-up look. Shame.

I’ve only had my GB 911 (no aero) for a little over a week and haven’t really noticed that it draws any attention from the masses. I had much more in my Cayman GR GT4 as well as my ‘24 GTS.4.0 (Aventurine) but any Targa would draw my attention moreso than TTS although I still very much appreciate them. But I still belive as has already been stated that for the majority of the public has no idea between either.

Agreed. I pulled up behind a 70s Stingray (sorry don't know Corvettes that well) at the Costco gas station. It was gorgeous. Silver on Red. Just like my GTS that I pulled up in. The guy turned to me smiling and said 'beautiful car, I can't afford one'. I laughed and said 'yours as well and perfect color combo'. .

I do dig the older Vettes. New ones are good for the track but to me it seems the front and back don't mesh and then there are those plastic pieces they slap on the intakes. Just overall strange looking.

Not trying to ruffle any feathers but the Turbo is a boring looking car. The "slightly" wider stance and the side intake along with a somewhat lackluster overall exterior doesn't do it for me. Sure its a beast under the hood but the fact that it looks somewhat worse than a 911 Carrera (in my opinion) and costs so much more just for performance that cant necessarily be properly utilized on public roads makes it a sub-par choice. In that sense, the targa for sure gets more looks and the average person would assume the turbo is just another carrera.
