I suspect that they will save the T until there's some demand fall-off... and just like the 992.1, most of them will end up with a PDK anyway.
I am at the "pour one out for the manuals" stage of acceptance.

My suspicion is that there won't be a T any longer based on my theory that if there were, Porsche marketing wouldn't be pushing the "T-Hybrid" branding because it will cause confusion. They must know the product road map for the next few years so I would believe they would be aware of the potential confusion it will cause. I would love to be wrong though.
Gone for MY25, but plenty of rumors that a manual S will return Q1 2025 as a MY26.

Jonny is speculating like most brand ambassadors currently are. Do we really believe that Porsche is going to reveal their cards this early in the .2 game? Marketing 101, get those that cannot wait and have got to have it now first.
All good things come to those that wait.
BTW, I hope it becomes a reality because it will be beneficial for those that own a manual 992.1.

Yes, but it will never happen. A unique engine requires crash testing and extensive engineering and road tests. For a couple year model run car that they make a few thousand of, I wouldn’t hold my breath.
Like the T has always been, it’s the manual base car. I wouldn’t expect anything else.

Doubt this would happen, but if it does, and coupled with a much lower starting price, that would be amazing.

Speaking of branding "t-hybrid" can't even be deselected on the 992.2 GTS. You'll have to ask the dealership or your detailer to remove it. No more GTS logo on the door from factory... If that matters to my fellow badge snobs 😛
