I think every state is a CARB state for this car - isn't the 911 a 50-state car? I would be surprised if it wasn't.

And apparently Nevada and Virginia starting in 2025. I wonder if that is calendar year 2025 or model year 2025? I'm in Texas so I had to look it up.

Lucky you...the non-carb states we noticed back in 2021 vehicles were released weeks ahead of the CARB states.

Default Sales manager told me yesterday EPA is supposed to be complete by 9/13

Only base Cayennes, Macans, and Taycans have approvals for 2025. Looks like it's running about 3 weeks between application dates and Certificate of Conformity (approval) dates.

Punch in the model year you want and Porsche for the manufacturer, and hit search. You don't need to fill in other fields. Sadly for 2025 the list is pretty thin for everything, but you can change the doucment type to "application" if you only want to see those.
My 992.2 has been in Benicia for 3 weeks, and with CARB approval needed to just to truck it to WA usually adding weeks after EPA, I'm preparing myself for Halloween for delivery.
We can still hold out hope the EPA website is just REALLY slow uploading documents but... yeah.
I hope it is accurate. My 992.2 Cabriolet has been at the port in Jax since July 31… he also said they will all be released next week. He said there was an update sent out yesterday. Fingers crossed.

If the certification issues are truly being resolved and cars will start being released this month, hopefully that bodes well for deliveries later in the year. I took over an allocation for a 992.2 yesterday that was originally going to my dealership and was able to make all of the changes that I wanted. The order has shown up in My Porsche as being accepted and with any luck the scheduled December 13 delivery date will hold up.

Are allocations released monthly or quarterly?

this one costs 2500 bucks and is a huge boost in power all things considered. +60 WHP and +100 torque with 0.6 second faster 0-60 time and 0.65 faster quarter mile time. I've tuned cars in the past and not had any issues personally but this is my first time buying a car so expensive and my first time buying a Porsche so idk what this holds long-term.

Is there an ideal budget price point wise for a base 911 build ? Are there some options that are not worth or some that are really good value ? I’ve heard 150-165k is the sweet spot. I’ve also seen a lot of dealer spec 992.2 base models right at 150 and just a touch below 160. It looks like I have a little bit more time to make some last minute changes. My build came out to 163 and I get every little thing that I want but I don’t want to over build and cost myself resale value in the future.

Ideally you want to spec the car for how YOU like it. but if resale is an important factor in your decision, imo options should be around 20% of the base value of the car. When you start getting into the 30% range you start to nudge up against the higher trim where a lot of the options in the lower trim are standard in the higher one. So in your case , you are right at the starting price of a GTS. Had there been an S Model you would've blown past that price. 40k in options in a C2 is a very very high spec.

I agree. 40k in options is a lot for sure. When I spec’d out a gts with similar color and options my build came out to 188-190 which is definitely more than I am wanting to spend. Main thing is I don’t want to spend big money on a car and cheap out on stuff to save a few thousand and regret not having it a year from now. I’m not too worried about resale as long as 3-4 years from now I’m not upside down on the car.

That regret was something I wasn't willing to live with either.

When I did my build (https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PSM6RFF2) I created a Google Sheets document and saved a variety of builds with pictures, pricing, and links to the configurator. I spent a good month honing the build down to what I wanted that fit in my budget. It took a lot of just sitting and thinking to finally pick what was really important to me. My advice: give yourself some time to mull over your choices. What I originally picked ended up being different from my final build.

Thank you. My build changed quite a few times. This is essentially what I am down to now ( https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PSBKW248 )
