In my experience leather is more durable than plastic. I have leather door sills and they are more resistant to scuffs than the plastic ones that are always so beat up on other cars.

wow that’s very interesting on the door sills. I remember seeing leather door sills as an option and thinking “those would get so beat up, who would spend the money on those?” You might be right about scuffs on plastic though..

On our car it looks like the exact same paint as on the outside. I’ve had a car with 18s and the plastics seat backs. I think it’s cheesy they do that but I wouldn’t want them without leather on the backs. And we much prefer the 18s to the 14s (had those on a TT in ‘15).

If your build hasn’t locked the SA should still be able to access their Configurator and make any changes you want. Those options are very profitable you know…

not the steering wheel but the steering wheel cover, it’s a pretty common option
