IC isn't necessary but you'll be able to hold peak power much longer - these cars pull timing due to IATs even stock, and it happens much faster with the tune.

I still haven't gotten a satisfactory explanation of why I'd change the piping though... I didn't bother.

Anyways, really tastefully done, OP. Those wheels are 🥵... they'll be next for me, but I already blew through my mods budget for the year and then some lol

Yes and the dealer coded the car as an Aerokit car to prevent a CEL.

Did you put it on a dyno, before and after the power updates? Also, what is the limit on the stock clutch? I bet you’re right up near it or past it.

By Porsche's estimation, Sport Classic is the max at ~450 lb-ft. But tuners have been doing stage 2 on stick Carreras for like 3 years now and I haven't heard anyone talking about exploding clutches or transmissions yet...

A lot of the latter depends on the driving style as well. If all most people are doing is enjoying the torque on the street, and the occasional highway pull in higher gears, things are likely fine. But, if you’re on a road course often, or a drag strip, then you’re using all the motor has to offer, and really testing the limit of the clutch.

Also, didn’t mean exploding clutches. Was mostly thinking a slipping clutch under load.

Agreed. My track days are over (done 120+ track days at VIR) and now I’m just a C&C poser! If it turns out the clutch can’t handle the power, I’ll address it.

Awesome, you knocked it out of the park on this one. I'll bet that T runs like a bitch.

What is required to get the benefit of the S/GTS turbos? Can they just be bolted on or is a tune needed?

Also curious what boost the T turbos run and what your upgraded ones are at? My S, no tune, maxes out at 17 psi of boost

I’d love to hear any post mod thoughts on your car, I’m contemplating pretty much everything g you’ve done on my T. How do you find the brakes now (I’m guessing no real noticeable difference in everyday but curious), do you find the character of the car to have changed markedly with the bigger turbos and tune? Any other notable thoughts? Love what you’ve done.

It depends. Some duck tails mount to the OEM active aero while others are complete replacement pieces requiring removal of the active aero motors. Both options require coding.
