Default My 2024 Carrera T Mods Are Done!

Hi all,

Been assembling this over the past few months. I'm really pleased overall. Debating whether to keep the side stripes so that may go away.

What have I done? Here's the list:

S/GTS Turbo Swap
MEngineering Tune
Europipe 100 cell cats
Akra Exhaust
KW HAS Kit
AP Racing 372mm BBK and 350mm Rear Disc Upgrade
Moshammer Ducktail EVO II
Moshammer Rear Diffuser
Moshammer Front Wings
Litespeed Mag+ RS5RR finished in Weiss Gold with Mich PS4 in 255/315 sizes
ACER Titanium Wheel Bolts
OEM Carbon Fiber Mirror Caps
GT3 Side Skirts
Custom Lizard Green (matches interior stiching) side and hood stripes

Fantastic! Who did you get the lizard green Porsche stickers from?

Thanks! A local shop that did the PPF and ceramic coating made them. Their vinyl guy had the same material that Porsche uses for their stripes and we found one that matched the interior and they found the template on line and cut it.

Side stripes in wheel color would look great.

Agree… and one step further - wrap the agate grey mirrors the same gold.

I’m going to do the wheels/vinyl/mirrors in ceramica (white) on my incoming Chalk T.

It looks great. And nice to see you did brakes too, with the turbos.
A lot of people add the 'go', but don't increase the 'stop' to match.

Nice, where did you buy the brakes? I think that’s my next upgrade. Intercooler + full do88 piping next for you?

I would say he did for the following reasons:

1-He didn't want to pay a huge amount upfront and wanted to upgrade bit by bit.
2-He wants to build his car and have that special bond. (Feeling proud to have done it himself and not an out-of-the-box GTS)

Other reasons to have gone with the T, so it would so enjoyable to drive with the upgrades:

3-The manual T comes with PTV
4-The T has less sound deadening
5-It can be configured with RAS

I bought the brakes from Hinz Motorsport https://hinzmotorsport.com/ . They were great to work with! I chose this kit because of AP's reputation for performance and the BBK is ~3-4lbs lighter per corner than the stock brakes despite the larger rotor. So a win/win in my opinion. Wrt the intercooler/piping, I understand that this isn't really needed unless you go with bigger turbos which I'm not planning to do.

All the above! The only thing that's "GTS" are the turbos. Also, I found this car at my local dealer and I really liked the spec (manual, RAS, T interior in lizard green, sport design front bumper, etc). Tbh though, I wasn't planning to do all that I've done when I bought the car. This forum is a really bad influence...

With the duck tail, did you disable the dynamic spoiler? or removed the motors?

as info, years ago I removed the dynamic rear spoiler and its motors from my 2009 Carrara S and replaced it with a fiberglass ducktail . I weighed all the removed OEM parts and the ducktail and found I had reduced weight in the rear by almost ten lbs while retaining downforce
