MY22 C4GTS surround view and no red bar.

Here's where we are so far:

• All the 2024 cars have the red bar.
• 2 out of 4 model year 2022 cars do not have the bar, 1 has the red bar, and one is TBD.

I wonder if newer versions of the PCM software cause the red bar to appear, but we only had two data points on this, so it is hard to say.

PSPorsche, that is a great table. Nice of you to put that together. Here's my PCM software info to help narrow down what's going on. I had a 20k service in March and they did a software update then, but not sure what it was for other than the Bose update.

Another metric that might be worth adding would be which style rear bumper is on the car…. because the sport design rear bumper covers have the camera perched-up higher than the standard Carrera rear bumper which have the camera mounted lower together with the license plate mount. I wonder if bumper style has anything to do with presence or lack of red bar on display…

actually, now I look at some of the images here the red bar doesn't seem consistent in the parking view. Oh well.....

Just additional info. I just browsed Autotrader randomly for 3 Carrera T and none of them has the red bar. (2 MY23 model, and 1 MY24). And all 3 has full SD kit (Front & rear bumper, SD side skirt)

I'm 2024. sport design rear bumper, surround view .... NO RED BAR. Tested a few different things this morning and couldn't get a red bar to show up even trying
