I actually tested that on a sample piece of red stitched leather gear shift cover. You can use a fabric dye pen and as long as you go darker, it works well. White to red/blue/green works well, red/yellow/greem to black works well. I even had it washed and it did not wash out. Just need to use the correct pen.

I just sat in a 992 with deviated stitching and it was quite beautiful. But it’s a bit silly to spend so much money on it.
