Tesla Busted by MotorTrend - Cybertruck vs 992T Manual
Thanks to MotorTrend, they pitted the Cybertruck against a manual Porsche 911 T - the slowest current generation Porsche 911 and proved without a doubt that it was all lies!

We all know Musk and Tesla basically lie their a**es off about all their cars’ capabilities, but even if it were true, did anyone really care in the first place?

It is indeed impressive that an EV truck can do the quarter mile while towing a car, and come so close to a sports car’s quarter mile time.
However, Tesla knew they were misrepresenting the information by claiming that the CyberTruck beat the 911 in the quarter mile, when it was really the 1/8th mile where it was ahead of the 911.
In the end, it is about credibility, rather than capability.

I had my Model Y Performance up to 140 today and it was pretty stable. I didn't realize it was as wide as my 02 Z06 Corvette till I put it on my Bendpak SP-7X lift. It's an impressive EV

Once again, Tesla proves to suck. Can't wait til this co goes the way of the dodo, so sick of hearing about their stupid batteries and ugly vehicles. Nothing revolutionary here, move along

Super bikes have always produced the best performance numbers over cars, way before Tesla, but I’ve never even considered one.
It’s not just about the performance numbers, there are many considerations and the experience a car can offer is a big one, regardless of performance numbers.
An ICE 911 is an electric experience, and that will always trump Teslas electric powertrain.

The Tesla hate in this forum makes me laugh. Why is everyone so insecure.. Also motortrend did not use the same trailer. Tesla is a public company with more scrutiny than anyone , it literal cant go inventing stuff. Volkswagen, Porsche parent on the other hand did real fraud and got caught so I would shut up probably

The Tesla did win 1 out of the 3 races in the 1/8 mile race.
So, there's that.
And all the differences in the other distances were, to put it mildly, rather miniscule.
But don't let facts, actual facts, get in the way of a good Internet beat down.

MotorTrend might not have used the same trailer, but I’m pretty sure they didn’t just make up their results either. For more details on that you can also watch the video by "Engineering Explained" they have the mathmatical facts.
