Guys, please don't make this into ANOTHER ADM thread. There are two cars listed with Color, Model, and interior color. IF you live in Georgia (car must be titled here) want that color and are willing to take delivery when the vehicle arrives 30ish days? Please let me know and I'll connect you with the SA. You work your own deal from there. Other than that, I don't want to waste anyones time. Thanks

Just post in the Georgia specific Facebook or wherever, what’s the point if I can’t register in my home state? Also what 911 models? I am looking for decent deals but seems like Porsche dealers are acting like it’s just before the 1929 stock market crash.

Correct. One reason they try to sell to local clients is to hopefully have the car serviced at the dealership.
Also markets are very different (California ADM market is different than Missouri etc). If the dealerships open up the sales to everyone, the guys in Florida and California would likely take a lot of the cars from other states with lower or no ADM, which would damage the relationship with local guys who would service the cars there. And they would lose all the service work for out of state cars.
Some dealerships don’t care, and will sell to out of state guys. Many prefer to sell to local buyers.

I commend the op for trying to help out those folks in GA. He can’t speak for the dealership as to why they do what they do but was trying to give those who may be looking from GA a heads up.

At least one dealer here in Atlanta is MSRP-only by policy. As mentioned, they are requiring some add-ons, which most would consider to be ADM in some capacity. But at ~5k and marginal value added, it's still better than any actual ADM.
As for why keep it in the state... I vaguely recall Porsche claiming they would begin favoring dealers who stuck to local sales. Maybe that's the game?

Thanks for all the "bump" posts guys. Also, thanks to all those the speculate on why this or that. Just go ahead and assume it's all correct/incorrect, I truly don't know. This is my last post on this topic as I've had over 10 PM's, please tell me all about the car (which I totally get) but None of them are OK with the car being titled in GA and I feel that I've be crystal clear that that is a requirement. Why PM me, ask for this and that, only to follow up with, I'm not in GA though??? The cars will sell, fact, so if you are an immediate (put down deposit) buyer looking to take delivery of a New 24, GTS, Shark Blue, Manual! in the next 30 days and TITLE it in GA, perfect. PM me and I'll connect you with the SA. Thanks

The problem with the Porsche dealer network is that it hasn't adjusted to the population shifts of higher income people into the southeast. Too many dealers now in NY/NJ etc, as people have moved to Florida and NC and GA, the dealer distribution matrix hasn't followed along. Florida and GA and NC need more dealers (and more allocations), NY/NJ/CT need less now.

So there will be 4 sales locations and still only 2 dealers in Georgia in the next few months.
it’s interesting that Ga has a population of just under 10 million and only 2 dealers while Ct has a population of under 4 million and 5 dealers
I think disposable and per capita income are a major factor in dealer location

Both Hennessy and Perimeter (Atlanta area) are each building an additional sales, showroom and service facility but still in the greater Atlanta area.
