Reviving this thread. I flew out to see the 992 S in Canada. The olive green with aurum wheels really look fantastic in person. The car drives superbly. Comes with CPO to 8/2028 which I confirmed with PCNA is transferable to US. I also got a letter of compliance from PCNA to import. It’s checking all the boxes but the only thing holding me back is that the Canadian dealer insists the digital speed below the tach cannot be changed only the speedo and temp from C to F. Read about using PIWIS3 to reprogram country code but hear mixed things and worry about voiding CPO getting this done anywhere but a dealer. Less of a concern to me but how this affects resale also a potential issue. Is it crazy this is giving me cold feet to got with my IGM T allocation that just started build today?!

Can you share the price? I live in Montreal. Might pick it up if you don't, although I do love my GT Silver C4, especially in the winter.

By the way, I believe Canadian Porsches are cheaper than US ones after you do the conversion. I didn't check in detail, but that's the impression I have. Every car is priced for what the market can bear in its local currency.

It’s clear that you really love that S, so I think you know what to do.

That said, IGM is a fantastic color in person, and looks way more special in person than in pictures. I actually know the car in your representative photo, and with the red interior accents (stitching, seat belts, and dials) it is really, really handsome. Check out page 1675 in the Carrera T club thread for a picture of the same cars in action on the track - and in good natural light. I’d suggest trying to see an IGM car in real life before walking away from your build.

I would take delivery of your T. It’s your car. Your build spec and not a used car with 4,000 miles on the clock from Canada. Just my .02 cents.
