I've been using a leaf blower on my vehicles for the last 25 years-works like a charm. Also works great at clearing snow off the sidewalk if it's of the light and fluffy variety.

I ended going with the Master Blaster dryer (Model MB-3CD). 8 hp of warm, filtered air. Thing is a beast, it's loud but is amazing and hasn't skipped a beat in the 6 or 7 years I've had it. In my experience, don't bother with battery powered leaf blowers.

kind of funny that adams offers 3 sizes of battery operated EGO blowers under there car drying equipment along their heated/filtered car blowers I like that these EGO's come with a spread and tapered nozzle and up to 765CFM. That's plenty of wind!

I use the EGO to get the bulk of the water off in my driveway. Then I pull it in the garage and use the Adam’s Air Cannon to get all the water out of everything with some AirPods in. The two compliment each other and really speed the whole drying process up drastically.

The only thing I have found is that my battery leaf blower doesn't like having the outlet too close
to what it is blowing on. The back pressure causes the impeller to stall and the "wind" drops
to near zero. I am talking about 4 inches so actually not all that close.

I did this, but now I have to wash the bubble. Looking for drying solutions for the bubble. Also, should I get the bubble ceramic coated? TIA.

Edit: duh….i just need to put my bubble in a bubble. nm

I have the Big Boi BlowR Pro, it’s great - but I guess it depends on why you want one.

if speed is what you want, the blower is not the better option. If you want the best way to dry your car to preserve the paint/ceramic coating, then it’s great.

touching the car = scratches, so the less you touch it the better (if you care about that kind of thing).

definitely get ceramic before trying to use a blower or it will take 3x as long to dry it.

happy to elaborate if there are any specific questions.

Default 565 CFM - Makita Blower

After having a "nine year" ceramic coating applied to my vehicles, I noticed that the car wash guys could clean my vehicles with little effort.

A foam cannon, rinse and blow dry.

I thought, I have a leaf blower that does the same thing, so I used this and haven't returned for a regular car wash since.

https://www.makitatools.com/products/details/GBU01Z

Just have to make sure to blow any debris from the driveway before using since it's so powerful.

A blower is not a good idea if you're in a condo/apartment. Too noisy and no other uses. Get a deionizer. Plus a blower won't get rid of pollen. Pollen is sticky and will cake on. It might get some of it off, but not the stuff that is caked on.

A Ryobi 500CFM Jet Fan "whisper" model. The whisper part means that they are playing games with the airflow
via a velocity stack setup to increase airflow without more noise or power drain.

Most of the time it works....but the airflow definitely will stall out.

When you say "overkill and more than I need" what are you referencing? Weight and cost? Anything more light weight and effective you would recommend - giving my limitations?
My Ego 765 Blower with 3d Printed TPU Noozle is 9lbs 4oz. No idea where you are getting 30lbs from.

I also have the EGO 765 but with the stubby nozzle from EGO and I don't have any issues holding it above the car even. I'm not strong either. It also comes with a shoulder strap and I'm using the 5AH battery. I first purchased a lower one, I think the 600 but it just didn't have enough power for me.

Agreed, its not a lightweight by any means but I also have a 650 as well, its not nearly as nicely balanced as 765 when holding it upside down and 1 handed on the lower legs, its got a nice center of balance as strange as it may seem upside down.

Splurged last year for an Ego 765 after ObsessedGarage tested the line up and said it’s only worth getting this or the 580. Ceramic coated car, Amazon stubby nozzle… drying with turbo mode is ridiculously easy. Not much towel drying needed after.
