I thought the same way re: the gloss black with matte targa bar. My build seems more cohesive with everything in matte. The only thing with the Arctic Grey is it'll be a lot of dark on dark, so having gloss elements may work better for it. You cannot go wrong either way, IMO, and I've found that all this worrying about such details probably won't matter when the car finally comes in.
My freeze date is 3rd week of May, so I've (unfortunately) got plenty of time to rethink my choices! At this point the one thing I'm waffling about on is the PDCC, and I guess it comes down to do I want a $221K Targa or a $218k one 🤣.

I decided to take the Carrera 4 GTS coupe since it sounds like there’s a chance the Targa allocation doesn’t become available to me.

Thanks for the encouragement! It’s really hard to pass on any GTS model so not worth the gamble to miss out on a car. Delivery is 2nd week of August.

Good luck! That's similar to my Targa 4 GTS date as well. I have August 14 as tentative delivery date, so we shall see what ends up happening. I tried checking the configurator, and it's been down for a bit. Part me prays it is because they decided to open up new colorways before freeze date May 28, but that's just wishful thinking 😂.

For that color, any thought about going with the silver Targa bar? It looks so good on the configurator, but I understand keeping the GTS "black" theme.

I never thought I would buy a silver car, but settled on it for my incoming Targa GTS, with colour accents for interior interest. Black is great, but shows every speck of dirt. Silver is classic and I think will be a little more forgiving.
