Sport design front bumper, color matched lip because I like the look. Sport design side skirts same reason. Rear bumper stock because I didn’t like the sport design plate placement. Nice I could choose all 3 as I liked.

So, what do you like about the Sport Design package, or what do you dislike about the Standard bumper?

Standard 992 bumper inspiration.

Without the SportdDesign Package (both front and rear fasciae), I would have passed on the 992. Completely transforms the aesthetic of the car for the better. It’s how the car should have come standard, but Porsche knows how to make money. I’ve had my car next to 992’s with the standard front and rear bumpers and people can’t believe they are the same generation.

I’ve got a standard bumper on my current 992.1 S CPO. I’m in line for a 992.1 allocation I can spec— with an SD front fascia and SD side rails. I like the look of both (and don’t like the SD rear, so will be forgoing that). The second reason I want the SD front fascia is to facilitate the install of RGS radiator screens, which are not available for the standard bumper (the RGS screens have the best, most integrated look, IMHO).

Initially, I preferred the standard bumper on the 992 as it gave it clear distinction from the 991. I had it on my 2020 992 for over three years and loved every minute of it. However, the sports design front grew on me - I always preferred the sports design rear - and now I prefer the look on my 23 GTS as it looks more aggressive to my eyes, especially with SPASM and the lowered stance.

I am curious how many RL members like the Standard bumper and how many like the Sport Design bumper.

I also want to understand WHY people like one or the other.
that's like asking someone to justify why they prefer silver vs. black, it's completely subjective and personal to the owner.

if I had ordered a bright or light color (especially yellow), I'd go sport design front, but I still would not get the aero kit or sport design rear. However, in Gentian Blue, the base front (which has the active aero, an actual plus) looks great.

I like both, but don't think the sport is worth the additional cost. Initially I really preferred the sport design but then I came around to the stock bumper (which I have). I don't like the lip on the sport design bumper being painted. I prefer the standard rear.

I couldn‘t agree more on the rear bumper plate placement. I would even go further and say it’s a no go! Look around other brands and quote which car is having the plate placed in the chassis line. You’ll be surprised that the most ugliest cars you see have that position.

For me a clear „no go“!!!

Default Bumper

I like the sport front bumper only slightly better than the standard bumper and definitely not $3,800 more so kept that $$ for other things that are larger improvements in my life

I like the Sport Design/AeroKit because I like the styling; it looks more aggressive/sporty, especially if the owner is into modifying. I like the standard front bumper, too, but just not as much as the Sport Design/AeroKit bumpers.
