If it was me, I'd keep the T. that gives you a coupe and a convertible, a 911 and a 982 - seems like a pretty perfect two car garage to me.

I’m in the same boat. ‘22 Spyder with a 6 speed and a ‘24 GTS (also MT) arriving in June.

Financially I think it makes sense to sell the Spyder. If I find that both cars drive and feel similar, I’ll let the Spyder go

Just made this decision. Traded my 22 Spyder 6MT for a Targa 4S. Although the Spyder was dynamic and fun I much prefer the power and practicality of the 4S. The top had a lot to do with it. I always prefer top down driving and the manual top was a drag. I plan to tune the 4S so the power differential is significant. In the Spyder I always craved more torque. In the end I’m happy with the swap. You may miss the Spyder but I doubt you will be unhappy with the change.

I had an opportunity two months ago to get a Targa 4S but dealership was asking for a 30k ADM and after buying two cars from them in the last year, I couldn’t stomach it. So I went to the dealership an hour away and they are the one with the S Cab with no ADM. If this was a Targa I probably wouldn’t hesitate. Anyway, still don’t have their trade offer.

But I love the NA Spyder and I agree that it is special. I’m still waiting on what the dealership will give me on the trades. My guess is they will try and low ball me and that will keep me from pulling the trigger.
any updates on your decision? Did they give you decent trade offers?

You will be trading two beautiful special cars for an ugly run of the mill 911 cabrio with a whale butt and discordant shape.

I like the looks of the cab. I like the booty of the cab more than the straight-line looks of a lot of convertibles.

Agree. I would never do this trade. But to each his own.

I don't consider the T special at all. It's a base with lightweight bits. It's just another 992 trim. Cab hump is ugly though. If it was a Targa, maybe consider it.

Still no word on trade values. I’m not pressing as I don’t want to seem desperate as I’m not. It’s been mid 70s here the last few days and I have loved the Spyder. I’m leaning toward keeping both.

Say you don't know what you're talking about without saying you don't know what you're talking about...
