So would need to take that to a commercial printer, have it printed and apply it to a board or something flat then put on the wall in front of car.

guess we would need the actual Porsche procedure too from their workshop manuals. It should do a step by step for this, how can we find that?

thanks Mars!

Piwis will tell you exactly how.

Go to Assistent systems Maintenance and repair-Calibration front Camera.

Thanks

Ive searched, but don't see any discussion coming up about this. My insurance provider replaces the glass, but NOT the programming if necessary... I do have piwis3 so looking to learn how to do it myself.

Cheers
First, I think you need to change your insurance provider. I had Geico insurance (which I personally think is of the lowest tier) on my M4 CS. Initally they refused to provide even oem glass. After fighting over it because of HUD and sensors (there are none) they agreed to OEM. They said I can take it to the dealer who would calibrate and I can submit cost for reimbursement. If Geico agreed to that, I'm surprised your insurance carrier is refusing.

You should elaborate the calibration is required on the car due to camera and it is otherwise a safety issue. Escalate if need be. Car should really not throw "collision warnings" because the glass was not calibrated.

What fun is that? I'm anxious to figure out how to do the calibration myself - one less thing to have to run to the dealer for, and another excuse to dig deeper into PIWIS!
