I'd save the money and install the GT3 side skirts. Less expensive, racier, and a bit more protection for the hips.

Add the GT3 skirts after you take delivery. I have gloss black sports side skirts on my 23 992 C4S but removed them and added Gloss Black GT3 skirts after delivery.

I specced the SportDesign package but skipped the side skirts. I don't like how they look and leaving them off looks more consistent with the SD rear fascia. Some people option them because Porsche recommends them. But I've noticed Porsche seems to never recommend skipping cost options.
Just get them if you like the look and think it's worth the upcharge. But it was an easy pass for me.

Pick the options you like, pass on the ones you don’t. For me on my C4S Cabriolet, I loved the sport design front and side skirts, but disliked the sport design rear bumper and license plate location. So I configured just that way. Couldn’t be happier.
