Feedback on GTS Build - Input required
Hey guys,
Can I get som feedback '24 GTS build. I was hoping to keep it under $170K but I feel like this incorporates most of what I'm looking for. Thanks!
Edit: Thoughts on RAS? I didn't have RAS on my 992 S and didnt feel like I was missing something. Unfortunately, there is no 911 with RAS at dealership for me to try.

I think that build looks great. I have found front axle lift useful on my car, but if you don’t need it, no reason to spec it. I think it looks good if staying around that price. I have PCCBs, but they are pricey and not necessary. I have gentian blue on my C2S and I’m considering getting it again on my future GTS (on waitlist).

With 14-way or 4-way? I have kids and sliding the seat back and forth was not fun. I sat in 18-way at the dealership and found them quite nice. I'm thinking maybe I skip RAS.

Will you really use the sunroof? I think a lot of people add it because they think they need to. I was glad Porsche gives the option to not include a sunroof. I never use them on other cars I own where it came standard.
Good call on adding the roof transport and dash cam prep. Low cost options that will make things easier in the future.
If the 18 way seats felt the best, keep them. There are other things you could remove if you want to reduce cost.

I tried the 4 way vs. 18 and went 18. I couldn't dial in the 4 ways to the spot I needed but could in the 18s. Also, I don't care for the yellow seatbelts with no other yellow to tie them in. I'd opt for GR since the calipers are that color. I have RAS and really appreciate how it helps to rail a corner, but if you're looking to save $, it is a reasonable option to scrutinize. Finally, as above, I went without the sunroof after having it onb my prior 911 and do not miss it at all. I like the looks of the slick-top and not having a sun-roof eliminates a potential leak/rattle issue if only in my overractive mind. Windows down has always been enough for me. Good luck with your build!

also, you can adjust the passenger seat with the driver controls. so when you're at a stop light or just waiting for the kid you can move the passenger seat to where it needs to be before they get in.

I have a ‘22 992 GTS, my 3d Porsche. Love it! Good looking build. I also went with leather and happy I did. I ordered the 18 way not only for myself but for whenever resale happens down the road. At this price point it’s expected. I did forgo the FAL and have maybe had two light scrapes in 16 months of ownership. I put the $ to RWS as I find both the turning radius and cornering enhanced with it. I also, after much consideration, opted for the RS Spyder Wheels over the Centerlocks. I do a number of multi day long tours to open country and chose not to have anxiety about tire failure potential. Enjoy the process and your new ride!
