I am not sure if the rear speakers are link, even you can setup one channel per rear speaker. it will be a waste of an extra channel, they don't require a lot of power.

1 - center speaker (Audison Prima 2" midrange)
2 - left tweeter/mid (linked from factory/harness)
3 - right tweeter/mid (linked from factory/harness)
4 - left door 8" bass
5 - right door 8" bass
6 - left/right rear speakers (linked)
7 and 8 (linked) - Audison 10" subwoofer

By the way, the shop told me two of the wires from the harness were backward, so they corrected it. They also tuned it, and it sounds great.
Thank you for the information. Very helpful and looks like it turned out amazing. Do you mind sharing the price for each part? I am looking to add a subwoofer.

I reached out to the distributor of the harness and DSP and they do offer these in the USA. I found a local installer who can order both, but there is a guy on eBay who does have both in the UK who was willing to ship if you wanted to install the system yourself.

I don’t own the software to tune the system so I’m thinking about just having the local guy doing it all.

do you have a part number and price on the harness? Anyone know of a distributer willing to discount on a group buy perhaps?

Brilliant , you could start a thread about it and have people chime in with other things other than what the thread is about.

This is how it’s starts, and how it progresses. This is the way. 😊

To be honest I tried to play with the equalizer on my phone and it still sounded bad and in fact the best sound came out with the default equalizer setting.

Just got the Match up 8 installed to compliment the audison 10” powered sub I had installed last year. My shop gave each speaker its own channel. No center speaker added. It sounds so good!

tech had said the stock speakers are getting pushed to the max and maybe think about speakers next, but then we realized he listens to music way louder than me. He tuned it at 24 and I listen at 17 (prior to the dsp I was listening at 22-23), so he re-tuned it to my listening level and pumped in more bass for ballads. I now have to be sure to turn the bass **** down before switching to rap. With how good it sounds now I don’t think new speakers are needed. Even if I crank it up to the upper 20’s, no distortion. Way too loud for me but I know it can get loud if I want it to.

If anyone is looking for a shop in NorCal hit up Rod at Car Audio Innovations in Roseville. They do great work.

Hmmm. This thread is making me rethink the current GB for the Feelart speaker upgrades.

What do you guys think? Amp and dsp > speaker upgrade?

did he do any insulation in the doors? Curious how he mounted the DSP. The match setup is on the short list of things to do.

I think it depends on how loud you listen to music. I think if the group buy started a couple weeks ago I may have gone that route since I don’t crank the volume to the max.

however, in my truck I just diy replaced the stock speakers with kicker ks series and they sound good but I’ve got it cranked almost at max so now I’m looking at possibly adding an amp/dsp.

most people say good speakers require more power so you might end up having to amp it?

They didn’t touch the doors. It was wired through the fuse panel with same harness used by the others. Only difference is the harness shares channels and we wanted each speaker to get its own channel so it required re-wiring from my shop. The Dsp is mounted under the passenger floor in the foam like pictured in a previous post. A usb cable was run up to the fuse panel to be able to easily tune if needed.

I thought about installing sound deadening myself after seeing the musicar YouTube video but so far it sounds good and I don’t hear any rattling so I might leave it as is.

Any high end auto stereo install requires a full tear out followed by a meticulous insulation
